Prominent Lessons
Teaching the whole counsel of God is both necessary and profitable to the health of the church. I’ve been teaching an OT overview in Sunday School and have been encouraged by the positive responses from the people as they are seeing how God’s Word progresses and reveals His Will and Work in human history.
I was asked this month to speak to the Operating Room staff with the hopes of encouraging them to “consider others more highly than themselves.” I know that I have been given this opportunity because I have diligently tried to live out the gospel at work. Having earned the privilege to speak to the whole department, I learned that God prepares His people to do His work.

To begin planning my Medical Missions Project for this October.
To complete the write-up for my first project.
To submit proposals for my last two projects.

Ministry Highlights
Our trip to Argentina was very rewarding and full of blessings. It was so encouraging to meet brothers and sisters in Christ that live in another country and love God as much as I do. The Self family is doing a great job raising up churches and spreading the gospel. For me, it was a very humbling experience as I was out of my element and comfort zone but God showed me that he can use me in my weaknesses if I keep following and trusting him.

Key Prayer Requests
Casey and I are working through a study called, “Changed Into His Image.” Pray that we would make this study a priority and allow the Spirit to speak to us as we look for areas we need to grow in and turn over to God. We both desire to become more like Jesus and this has been a great tool to use to help with progressive sanctification.
Also, this weekend I am teaching a painting class and sharing my testimony. Please pray that I would focus on God’s strength and not my weaknesses. Also my sister-in-law (Natalie) and a couple neighbors will be attending. I will be clearly presenting the gospel so please pray for salvation for these ladies as well as anyone else who is attending that doesn’t know Jesus.
