Ministry Highlights
Our Christmas Village on Dec. 4-5 went extremely well! We have over 2,000 people hear the gospel as they went through our drama. It was great to see our church family come together to make this outreach a success.
I was able to preach on the shepherd’s response to the message of the angels during our Christmas Eve service. We had a lot of visitors in attendance!
We were able to open up our home and share Christmas Day with a friend who doesn’t have any family nearby.
Our small group Christmas party went really well!
Key Prayer Requests
We begin the interview process at Grace Bible for a full-time position after our internship on Jan. 15.
That our children would return to full health. All three of them have been fighting a cold off and on over the past month.
That God would continue to open doors for the gospel while I am working at the Olive Garden. Pray especially for Rich and Sophie.
That I would be diligent in preparing for ordination in the spring.
Prominent Lessons
Some of my best ministry opportunities happen at home with my wife and kids.
Never be afraid when opportunities come to minister to people, even if I have just met them. I need to remind myself that God has sovereignly allowed them to cross my path.
The more godly and wise people I can surround myself with, the better.
Take time to relax and enjoy my family. Though I need to work hard, I need to remember that God is building His church, and that it doesn’t rest on my efforts.
Key Goals for the Next Month
Begin to bring Tim M. along with me as I visit people. The goal is to equip him to be able to make visits on his own.
To preach on taking advantage of teachable moments on Jan. 22.
Help lead our new members class, Jan. 15-29.
Kick-off our Life Group trimester, Jan. 8.

Ministry Highlights
It was great to hear Dave preach during our Christmas Eve service.
We had a great time getting together with our friends and church family at different Christmas parties.
We were able to have people over on multiple occasions this month.
Key Prayer Requests
Dave and I will begin the interview process on Jan. 15 for Dave to have a full-time position here at Grace Bible.
Our entire family has been battling a cold for the past few weeks.
Prominent Lessons
This month, I learned how to still be hospitable, even around the holidays. On Christmas Day, we were able to still have time with just our family, but invited one of our friends who doesn’t have any family around over for Christmas dinner. I’m learning that I can still open up my home, but in a more relaxed way at times.
Spending even a small amount of time with our church family can go a long way.
Key Goals for the Next Month
Visit more people in the church.
Be an encouragement to our Life Group as we start up again in January.
