Ministry Highlights
On Nov. 20, I preached on the importance of church membership. It was great to study the reasons why we practice church membership, and I called our people to either join our church or to recommit themselves to the church body for those who are already members. A few of our newer families and some individuals that we had been praying for to become members notified our staff that they would like to join Grace Bible.
We had a few work days leading up to our Living Christmas Village after our Sunday morning service. It was great to see the highest number of people volunteer and help for this event that we have ever had in the past. This gave me the opportunity to get to know people within our church that I had never met before, which was a huge blessing.
I had the chance to visit with Margaret Gordon this month. She is 90 years old and has attended our church for the past few years. She was so warm and inviting, and she really encouraged me as I minister here at Grace. It was one of the best visits I’ve had here at Grace.
I visited a few of our church’s Life Groups this month and was extremely encouraged at how our first trimester has gone. The new people we have added to our groups have fit in well and are already building trust and deepening the relationships with others in their groups.
Key Prayer Requests
Praise: Our Living Christmas Village was a success. We had over 2,100 people attend this year.
Melanie and I will be going through the interview process in December for a full-time pastoral position here at Grace Bible.
I’ll be working alongside of Pastor Terry next month as we revamp our new members class.
Praise: We had a great time visiting my family and our sending church, Winslow Baptist Church, this month.
Prominent Lessons
Never back away from an opportunity to be a blessing to someone if God is nudging you to do so.
Take full advantage of media outlets to promote a church-wide event.
That I need to continue to create quiet space in my life to allow God to speak.
My wife and children are just as much a part of my ministry as I am.
Key Goals for the Next Month
Preach during our Christmas Eve Service.
Begin promoting and organizing our church directory photos in January.
Work on revamping our new members class.

Ministry Highlights
Completing another year of the Living Christmas Village. We had so many more volunteers this year willing to lend a helping hand.
We had many people come through the Living Christmas Village at church. I personally got to share the gospel with one of our guests who was asking about our “religion.”
Key Prayer Requests
Pray that the holiday season will be a fruitful time, as many people will come to a church for Christmas services who do not regularly step foot in church.
Prominent Lessons
Each year I participate in the Living Christmas Village ministry, I learn how to delegate more effectively and encourage other volunteers how they can use their gifts.
