Ministry Highlights

Preached my first Applied Bible Analysis (ABA).

Officiated my first funeral/graveside service.

Teaching through “The Gospel At Work.”

Organized and hosted pastor’s fellowship.

Key Prayer Requests

For second Applied Bible Analysis (ABA) on 11/20.

For getting proposals written.

For witness to new neighbors.

For time management and balance with family life.

Prominent Lessons

Church discipline is a difficult yet necessary element to healthy church life.

As Baptists, there are many practical implications of our theology as it relates to baptism. I’ve learned this is especially true with regard to baptizing children.

In time of grief and suffering, our pastoral presence is just as important as our words.

Key Goals for the Next Month

Upload first and second Applied Bible Analysis (ABA).

Write proposals for 1st and 2nd projects.

Ministry Highlights

Our soul care group is struggling in numbers but there is one couple that has been consistent, and we are thankful for them and for the opportunity to get to know them better.

Moms Matter – I am starting to see opportunities open up to meet with individual moms on the servant team one-on-one and am still trusting God to provide discipleship opportunities.

Praise God for helping me through my four weeks of teaching! He equipped me, and I received positive feedback from the ladies who attended.

Soul care is going well after a slow start.

Key Prayer Requests

Trusting God to use our soul care in the way He desires.

That God would give me boldness to initiate with moms who are struggling within the Moms Matter ministry.

Organization of my time and that I would keep my husband and children as a priority over ministry.

Future opportunity to teach a Coffee and Canvas ministry – that God would show me how He wants me to be a part of this and that Jackie and I would be used to share the gospel and glorify God through this ministry.

Prominent Lessons

God equips those He calls, and as I do my part to put off my old sinful nature and put on Christ instead, the limits are endless to how He can use me. All it takes is the willingness and submission to serve Him.

Key Goals for the Next Month

Have a pastoral family into our home to learn about their ministries and how they operate as a family. Also to learn from them the lessons of being involved in full-time ministry.

Get together with a mom from Moms Matter to encourage her.

Do a better job discipling my children. I need to make a plan and follow through on it.
