Ministry Highlights
Ran a successful community outreach Church Picnic. It was great to see some new families feel welcome to come to the picnic and be a part of the community. We had one VBS family come to our picnic, which was awesome.
I let everyone know about our new kids ministry changes yesterday. Pray that we get more volunteers to join us! It was a great feeling to get a hug from one of our kids ministry workers thanking me for all the work I have done to help them do their jobs well!
Praying for a great start to the youth group! Lots of things to look forward to. It’s going to be exciting to see how God works in this ministry this year. Hard to believe it is going to be my 4th year in ministry!
PRAISE GOD that He opened the door for us to move our young adult group onto campus (Lebanon Valley College)! We will start meeting for our meetings on campus September 11. We made over 25 contacts on campus last weekend and look forward to many of them coming to our group.
Key Prayer Requests
We had a great summer of children and family outreach ministries but continue to pray that we successfully navigate a change in our outreach mindset and program to keep it fresh. Pray that we can begin to get involved in the community in very practical ways.
Continue to pray that I can use this internship to get into a good habit of staying fed biblically now that my seminary classes are finished.
Pray that God will continue to open doors to reach more and more young adults on the college campus (where I graduated from). We have moved our group to meet on campus and pray that we can reach those students way better than ever before.
It’s exciting leading our church through a major change in our children’s ministry on a Sunday morning. It’s been great to see it all come together. Pray that we get more volunteers to join us!

Prominent Lessons
People need to know that you are there for them but sometimes they won’t need to have us there for them like you would think. Sometimes a simple phone call is all someone needs to know that they are loved and cared for and that will open more doors to continue that relationship later.
It was a lot of hard work to do a lot of behind the scenes busy work but it was all worth it when my kids ministry leaders thanked me for what I did; and I even got a hug!
Sometimes a lot of time needs to be spent on preparation for new ministry seasons that there is not really a significant event or prominent lesson to be learned at that moment.
Key Goals for the Next Month
Get off to a great start for the new ministry year in YAC, Youth Group, Kids Ministry, and Small Group Ministry.
Continue to lead the church through the change in children’s ministry. We need to start recruiting new volunteers. Goal of at least 1 new adult volunteer before the winter quarter starts.
Have a great annual meeting and get started working on community outreach events within groups people are already involved in.
