Ministry Highlights
Preaching in John 5 has been a delight. The Lord has really taught me in my study of that text.
I have enjoyed watching our new deacons step up and begin fulfilling their ministry roles.
It’s been great adding our new youth intern and being able to spend time with him.
We had another couple join the church at our monthly meeting.
Key Prayer Requests
We are praying for direction in our auditorium remodel.
We are also wanting to discover new ways in which we can improve the way in which we incorporate new attenders and members into our church body.
Our small groups, Bible studies and Sunday school start back up in September.
Prominent Lessons
The Lord knows very well the needs of a local church. He is faithful to provide what and who we need to meet those needs if we pray and ask Him.
Relational “drama” is going to happen among the youth of our congregations. As parents, we must learn how to walk our youth through the conflicts without adding to the relational disharmony.
The devotional life of a pastor is so important. It is very easy to neglect this important discipline.
As we study a text, we should be asking the Lord to teach us the lessons first, then we will be better able to teach others.
Key Goals for the Next Month
Finish my final project.
Finish preaching through John 5 and begin John 6.
Create a new visitation program and schedule.
Create a new schedule for our adult Sunday school teachers.

Ministry Highlights
We had the privilege of visiting and praying with a family whose son was leaving for college. It was a blessing to encourage them.
We had another couple join our congregation.
We had another couple added to our sound-room team. This was a huge blessing because the couple that had been working in there were really burning out.
Key Prayer Requests
As always, relational harmony in our church.
Prayer for our small groups and Bible studies beginning in September.
Prominent Lessons
So much of our ministry to others is in just “being there” for them in their times of difficulty.
I need the strength only the Lord can provide in my every day life.
Key Goals for the Next Month
I would like to start meeting with one of the ladies from our church for prayer again on a weekly basis.
I would like to have at least one family into our home.
